The science of Yoga is an ancient and sacred system for the realization of the true Self. On a literal level, the Sanskrit word yoga is translated as "union", to "yoke" or to "bring together." Generally, the term Yoga refers to the tools and techniques we can use to reconnect to this state of union, or oneness, and authentic sense of self, which exists at the core of each of us. The physical practice, or Hatha Yoga, is simultaneously beneficial to the body on a physical level, and healing for the mind and spirit on an energetic level. The power of yoga stems in part from its ability to deeply enrich our emotional and mental well-being through an accessible practice grounded in breath and physical experience.

“When I started assisting Beverley, teaching yoga was something I wanted to do but never tried. Less than a year later, I am a full-time yoga teacher teaching privates and group classes in many different settings. Beverley helped me develop my own style as a teacher, expanding my teaching from therapeutic private sessions to intense high-level group classes. She is the best!”
